Prof Ute Meta Bauer
Founding Director, NTU CCA Singapore; Former Chair, MSCP
Ute Meta Bauer is a curator of exhibitions and presentations, connecting contemporary art, film, video and sound through transdisciplinary formats. She was a Professor at the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University, where she initiated and co-chaired the Master of Arts in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practice. Currently she is Senior Principal Research Fellow at the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore, the first national research centre in the arts, which she led as Founding Director for over a decade. With a career spanning three decades, her focus has been on the relationship of place, labor, capital and on climates, habitats and environments.
