Ute Meta Bauer is a curator of exhibitions and presentations, connecting contemporary art, film, video and sound through transdisciplinary formats. She was a Professor at the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University, where she initiated and co-chaired the Master of Arts in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practice. Currently she is Senior Principal Research Fellow at the NTU Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore, the first national research centre in the arts, which she led as Founding Director for over a decade. With a career spanning three decades, her focus has been on the relationship of place, labor, capital and on climates, habitats and environments.

Laura Miotto is an award-winning exhibition designer and educator with over 20 years of experience in creative direction and architectural design. Her work focuses on heritage interpretation and sensorial design strategies across museums, thematic galleries, and public spaces. Notable projects include the Singapore Pavilion at the 59th International Art Exhibition, Venice Biennale (2022), the Borneo Cultures Museum (2022), Gallop Extension at the Singapore Botanic Gardens (2021), the Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (2015), and the Living Galleries at the National Museum of Singapore (2006). A recipient of the President’s Design Award Singapore (2010), she is an Associate Professor at Nanyang Technological University and Programme Director of the MA in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practices.

Marc Glöde (PhD) is a curator, critic and film scholar. His work focuses on the relationship between images, technology, space, and the body, as well as the dynamics between fields such as art/architecture, art/film, and film/architecture. He received his PhD at The Free University of Berlin and has taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Dresden, the FU Berlin, Academy of Fine Arts Berlin, and was Assistant Professor at the ETH Zürich. He is currently Associate Chair (Graduate and Continuing Education), School of Humanities. Formerly Co-director of the MA in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practices, he is now a lecturer for the programme.

A conservator and archaeologist with more than 30 years’ experience, Franca is a material culture researcher and collections expert. Trained at UCL as an archaeological conservator, working in museums and excavations in Greece, Turkey, Libya, Lebanon, Egypt, Norway, Peru, Chile, UAE, Malaysia, India, Qatar and Syria. Her MPhil and PhD at University of Cambridge used Sarawak Museum archive materials to investigate the role of indigenous ceramics in mortuary practices at Niah Caves. Franca was Post-Doctoral fellow at University of Leicester and Lecturer in Conservation Studies at UCL Qatar. She has been Sarawak Museum Department’s Consultant in Conservation and Archaeology since 2017 and part-time lecturer for NTU Singapore’s MA in Museum Studies and Curatorial Practice since 2018.

Louis Ho is a Singapore-based curator, critic and art historian. He was formerly a member of the curatorial team at the Singapore Art Museum, and co-curator of the Singapore Biennale in 2016. As an independent curator, his practice reflects experimental and minority voices in this region; he also maintains a keen interest in the contemporary art of Myanmar. His research is concerned with contemporary visual cultures, with a particular focus on the specific socio-cultural contexts in which various visual vocabularies have emerged in Southeast Asia.

Dr. Dee Chia currently serves as the Deputy Director of Audience Development at National Gallery Singapore, overseeing initiatives to improve access to art and serving advisory roles for the Gallery Children’s Biennale and Light To Night Singapore. She has also led learning, access and public programmes at both the Gallery and Singapore Art Museum, championing mental health initiatives like StART and Project Happiness. From 2018 – 2020, Dee led the Singapore Art Museum in the development of the SAM TouchCollection. She is a National Arts Council Scholarship recipient and received her MPhil and PhD from the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on the positioning of artists who engage in community-based, participatory artistic interventions and the impact of art museum programmes on mental health, accessibility & inclusion and youth development.

Dr Michelle Lim is an art historian and independent curator. She holds a PhD in Art & Archaeology from Princeton University and was a Curatorial Fellow (09/10) in the Whitney Independent Study Program. She has worked on research and curatorial projects for international institutions including the Asia Society Museum, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Princeton University Art Museum and the National Museum of Singapore. She has taught at The Cooper Union, the CUNY Graduate Center, and NTU Singapore andher co-edited volume American Art in Asia: Artistic Praxis and Theoretical Divergence  (Routledge, 2022) was published with public panels held at the National Gallery Singapore and Mori Art Museum Tokyo. Michelle was on the acquisition committee of the Singapore Art Museum from 2016–2022 and is a member of the AICA–US Chapter. In 2026, she curated Dreaming Islands. A Geomancy of Time., a community–based participatory project shown at COEX @ Kilang Besi in Hin Bus Depot, George Town, Penang. Her current interests span exhibition histories, socially-engaged art practices, and sustainable curatorial ecologies in the Global South.

Natalie is a pioneering Singaporean researcher, whose interest focuses on the relationship between jewellery and society, and whose work lies at the intersection of archaeology and ancient Southeast Asian art history. Her work includes research on the goldornaments found on Fort Canning Hill, currently on display at the National Museum of Singapore, as well as the representations of class and society on the reliefs of world heritage sites Borobudur and Prambanan on Java, Indonesia. At MSCP, she teaches AcademicResearch and Writing Skills, Cultural Histories of Southeast Asia, and Global Art Histories. She is also interested in the preservation and education of local and regional heritage sites, and obtained her PhD in Southeast Asian Studies in 2020.
